Responsible Care® is the worldwide initiative by the chemical industry to deliver continuous improvements in health, safety, environmental an security management. Innospec is a long term supporter of Responsible Care® and through our association with relevant trade associations around the world, are committed to the International Council of Chemical Association’s (ICCA) Global Responsible Care® Charter.
Within Innospec, management systems are in place that play a key role in delivering our commitment to Responsible Care®, with a key focus on sustainability, which is central to our business values.
In November 2014 Innospec reaffirmed our commitment to the initiative by signing up to the revised charter, ahead if its official launch in 2015.
Innospec Fuel Specialties LLC Responsible Care® Management System (RCMS)
Innospec Fuel Specialties is committed to the continual improvement of all aspects of Responsible Care®, including prevention of harm to human health and the environment, security, product safety and use of natural resources. The Innospec Fuel Specialties Responsible Care® Policy has been developed by the Management team and resides on this website.
Innospec Fuel Specialties’ RCMS is aligned with The American Chemistry Council’s Technical Specification and consists of the following elements:

Certification
Innospec Fuel Specialties first obtained RCMS certification in 2007 and was recertified in 2017 via accredited third-party auditors.
Responsible Care® Performance Metrics
Innospec Fuel Specialties reports its Heath, Safety, Environmental and Security performance via the ACC Responsible Care in accordance with ACC requirements.
